Flight from Athens & Thessaloniki to Bali - arrival in Bali
Evening meeting at the airport and flight via Istanbul to the Island of the Gods, exotic Bali. Arrival in Bali at 19.15. After formalities and baggage collection, we meet our local guide. During your transfer to the hotel you will receive initial essential information about the island and the daily activities. Check-in and time to rest.
Day02Bali, Nusa Dua
Breakfast and a free day to enjoy your hotel's facilities or to visit one of the wonderful beaches of the Bukit Peninsula, with a choice of water sports. In the afternoon we suggest a stroll along the cosmopolitan beaches of Kuta and Seminyak, Bali's shopping and entertainment hub, where you can wander lanes full of wonderful shops, cafés and local restaurants. Enjoy a glorious sunset from the Ku.De.Ta or Potato Head lounge bar and unwind with your first Balinese massage.
Day03Excursion to Central & Northern Bali
Breakfast. Departure at 08.30-09.00 from the hotels and a visit to the island's most important sight, the iconic Tanah Lot temple, built on a rock in the Indian Ocean. We continue with a visit to the royal temple of Taman Ayun, where you will learn more about the architecture of Balinese temples and their Hindu tradition. Through enchanting landscapes and villages of the island, you will reach beautiful Lake Beratan to tour the magical Ulun Danu temple. The setting is unrivalled, surrounded by four mountains and volcanoes that create a stunning atmosphere and scene. Next stop is a spice and herb garden, where you will taste local teas and coffees and, of course, the world-famous kopi luwak coffee.
Day04Excursion to the best of Ubud (waterfalls & rice terraces & monkey forest)
Breakfast and check-out. Departure at 08.30-09.00 for the highlands of Ubud, the island's cultural centre. First stop is the impressive Tegenungan waterfall, which you will admire amid a wonderful tropical setting. Next stop is the village of Tampak Siring, where you will see Tirta Empul temple with the water of its sacred spring and the palace built by Indonesia's first president. We continue to the spectacular Tegelalang rice terraces, one of the main tourist attractions in Bali, north of Ubud. For the daring, we suggest the Bali swing or the flying fox, with panoramic views over the spectacular terraces. Before transferring to our hotel, you will visit the Sacred Monkey Forest, a protected area where you will see and play with the macaques. Check-in and overnight stay.
